Dr. Saranya Addepally is a board-certified gastroenterologist with six years of clinical experience, treating a broad range of digestive and liver conditions. She is especially passionate about women’s GI health—areas where patients often feel overlooked or hesitant to seek care.
Her medical journey began in India, where she completed her training before moving to the United States to pursue advanced education in medicine and Gastroenterology at the University of Arkansas.

For self-pay patients, new patient visits are $200, established or hospital follow-up visits are $100, and the doctor fee for procedures is $500. Additionally, specific self-pay rates include $1,200 for single procedures, $1,550 for double procedures, $100 for Fibroscans, $350 for anorectal evaluations, and $500 for capsule endoscopies.

On procedure day you will check in at the endoscopy facility, review your medications, complete consent, and talk with the anesthesia team before your examination begins. Afterward you recover briefly and typically hear preliminary findings the same day; final pathology results on any tissue removed take longer, and your follow-up interval depends on the findings, preparation quality, and your personal risk.

At what age should screening begin?
Average-risk adults are generally advised to start at 45 and continue through 75, with individualized decisions from 76 to 85. Risk factors can change this.
Will I be sedated, and do I need a driver?
Sedation or anesthesia is arranged for the procedure, and an adult driver is required to take you home afterward.
Can polyps be removed during the procedure?
Often yes. Some polyps are removed during the same examination, and tissue may be sent to pathology.
When will I receive results?
Preliminary findings are usually discussed the same day; final pathology results take longer and are communicated to you by our team afterward.
